Mr. Garrett does not accept MassHealth, Medicare, Medicaid, or Private Insurance. The process of billing insurance companies is arduous and time intensive. It requires providers to hire professional medical billers to handle all the paperwork. By not accepting these third-party payers, it allows us to keep our rates low. If there is no insurance trail, our sessions are completely private and are at your discretion to disclose. If your insurance company will reimburse for telemedicine visits, we can supply you with a superbill you can present to your insurance company.

Limitation of Services
These services are not provided in this practice:
- Disability Evaluations, including Short Term Disability and determining leave of absences from work
- Major substance use disorders and addictions that are the primary reason for seeking care.
- Forensic evaluations for legal services
- Custody evaluations, parental assessments for use in determining custody or visitation
- Severe intellectual disabilities
- Neuropsychological assessments or psychological testing
The above conditions require more intensive and specialized training and treatment expertise.
Cash, credit cards, debit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA) cards, and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards are all accepted. Checks are not accepted.
An Initial Comprehensive Evaluation with Mr. Garrett is $250--payment in full is required when the appointment is booked to reserve your appointment time.
Follow-up appointments are $125. Payment in full is required for services on the morning of follow up appointments.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly give at least a 48-hour advance notice. If such notice is not received, you will be financially responsible for the time that was reserved just for you. Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed sessions.
There are strict guidelines for controlled substances including medications for ADHD and anxiety. Patients prescribed controlled substances will be required to abide by Intend Wellness Psychiatry's Controlled Substance Policy.
